Noritake Super Porcelain EX-3
| |
The " 3 " in " Noritake Super Porcelain EX-3 " refers to the 3 characteristics of the Noritake Porcelain series. Noritake manufactures the highest quality dental porcelain available on the market today.
1.Outstanding Resistance to Fractures:
Fractures frequently seen on dental porcelains are mainly caused by
the incompatibility of the thermal expansion coefficient between the
alloy and the porcelain. And the thermal expansion of the porcelain
varies drastically subject to the baking repetition, cooling rate, post
soldering and so on.
However, Noritake Super Porcelain EX-3 succeeds in the stabilization
of the thermal expansion and therefore minimizes the risk of fractures
even with the fabrication of long span bridges using precious, non-precious,
or semi-precious alloys.

The risk of fractures as shown above is minimized with the application
of Super Porcelain EX-3.

2.Prevention
of Greening Induced by Silver.
A. Minimal greenness with fusion to semi-precious silver alloys.
B. Greenness of Super Porcelain EX-3 is minimized even baked in a silver-contaminated
furnace.
C. Greenness caused by post soldering is minimized even with Gold-Palladium-Silver
alloys or Gold-Platinum alloys.
The silver-free semi-precious alloys usually cause a number of problems
associated with post soldering strength, however, with EX-3, the semi-precious
silver alloy is applicable wlthout the worry of greenness.
Furthermore, not only the base(build-up) porcelains, but also the margin
porcelain, the stain and the glazing powder of EX-3, are featured with
the satisfactory dentition simulation with minimal risk of greenness.
